Barbara & Otto Höglmeier found one of the first recycling companies in the district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen.

1987: The passion for polymers begins

Single-origin plastics are ground for the first time at the Ellingen site.

1988: The 2nd generation gets started

Harald Höglmeier joins the company.

1990: Expansion in Raitenbuch

The Raitenbuch site is acquired.

1991: Intensification of the plastics recycling division

The first plastics recycling center in southern Germany is opened at the Raitenbuch site.

1997: The division grows

The Raitenbuch site is expanded for the first time with new warehouses and a production hall.

2001: The division becomes a separate company

HP-T Höglmeier Polymer-Tech GmbH & Co. KG is split out of the waste disposal company.

2014: A big step towards CO2 neutrality

A new warehouse is built in Raitenbuch; roofs are equipped with photovoltaics.

2019: Reaction to constantly increasing customer requirements

The research and development department is founded.

2020: We continue to grow...

The Ellingen site is expanded by three halls, resulting in a 300% increase in capacity. In addition, the first member of the third generation, Johannes Höglmeier, joins the company.

2021: Investment in the latest technology

Seven new grinding plants are put into operation at the Ellingen site and the second part of the 3rd generation, Maximilian Höglmeier, joins the company.

2022: New storage facilities

The Ellingen site is expanded with storage space.

2023: New business segment in PET processing

New extrusion line for rPET production, among other things, is put into operation. This enables film processing and pelletizing.
